Shilpa is a Principal Software Engineer at BBC. Currently working on critical web platform services, developing and mentoring software engineers, and providing technical and architectural leadership across platforms. As a Security champion, she is helping to create a culture of awareness to build secure applications. Previously she has successfully led product teams with agile working practices. She has helped team build continuous delivery capabilities through automation and infrastructure as code. She believes in building autonomous teams that have both a product focus and build high-quality production systems through automation for functional and cross-functional requirements. She strongly believes in enabling people and teams through technical leadership. Shilpa is an advocate and supporter of Women in STEM fields.
